After returning from holiday, head coach Pep Guardiola today sat down with new president Sandro Rosell to sign a one year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed but the contract insures that Guardiola and his assistant Tito Villanova will remain with the club until June 30, 2011.

This upcoming season will be Guariola’s third in charge and fourth overall with the club after starting in charge of Barça Atletic. In his first two seasons Pep has collected seven trophies, including an impressive treble run his first year.
