The 2008/2009 season is looking like the only time FC Barcelona fans are going to have seen Alexander Hleb play in the Blaugrana kit.

Appearing in 19 league matches and 7 Champions League matches in his first season with the club, in which they one the treble, Hleb was shipped off to Stuttgart last season after refusing to report with Inter Milan in the deal that brought Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona.

Today to little surprises Hleb was once again sent out on a one year loan deal. This time Hleb will return to the Premiership, where he played prior to his arrival in Barcelona with Arsenal, playing for Birmingham City.
