Following a two and a half week recovery period after suffering a left leg injury while playing with Spain’s U-21 squad, Jeffren Suarez receives medical clearance to return to the club.

The return of Jeffren comes at a time when FC Barcelona are looking a little light upfront with Lionel Messi out of action for at least two weeks recovering from an ankle injury.

Jeffren successfully completed training on Tuesday afternoon and received the green light by club doctors to be available for tomorrows midweek league match against Sporting Gijon, who drew with Bilbao this past weekend.

Last season Jeffren made 16 appearances for Barcelona scoring two goals.
