Thirty minutes into the first half of the Copa del Rey against AD Ceuta, David Canas fouled Jeffren. The foul looked harmless but as the 22 year old went to the ground he jammed his left shoulder. Immediately the injury looked serious as Jeffren quickly signaled to the sidelines for help as he grimaced in pain hold his arm.
