This morning in Switzerland the round of 16 draw took place for the Champions League and FC Barcelona found out that they will be going up against Cesc Fabregas and Arsenal.

The matchup rekindles the two clubs heated rivalry in Champions League play as Barcelona knocked out the north London side in the quarter-final stage last season and also defeated them in the 2006 final.

Following the draw manager Arsene Wenger commented on the clubs website saying “Revenge is not on my mind. We want to qualify and we want to knock them out. So is it difficult? Yes. Is it possible? Yes.

“Barcelona are certainly the favourites [for the competition] and a famous team but, on their side, they did not want us either because they know they will get a game.

“I think we are better than last year and we have a good opportunity to show that.”

Barcelona will travel to London for the first leg on February 16 with the return leg taking place at the Camp Nou on March 8.
