FC Barcelona defender Adriano will be sidelined for up to four weeks following a hamstring injury he suffered in yesterdays Copa del Rey loss to Real Madrid.

Adriano had suffered a light hamstring injury this past weekend when the club faced Real Madrid at the Bernabéu.  Following the injury the Brazilian trained at a slower pace in preparation for playing in the Copa del Rey.  His inclusion in the starting lineup yesterday was due to the lack of players Guardiola had available at the left back position.

The injury to Adriano leaves only Maxwell now as the lone left back on Pep Guardiola’s roster since Eric Abidal is still unavailable following successful cancer surgery.
