Images of FC Barcelona’s 2011/2012 home kit were posted last week and this week we are getting confirmed reports that the away kit from Nike will be black!
The kit looks very similar to the keeper kits that Victor Valdes has worn in past seasons but this time the Qatar Foundation logo is featured on the front and will have the UNICEF logo on the back.
Photos of the away kit reached the internet in late December but there were much speculation about their validity because it featured the UNICEF logo on the front which goes against the agreement made between Qatar Foundation and FCB.
The decision to release a black kit by Nike is believed to revive kit sales as revenue has declined over the past few seasons with the clubs decision to go with “bold” colors for their away kit scaring away consumers.
I do not think that the “bold” colors made the revenue declining for the bast years, i think it made it booming. the kit is selling in my country more that the HOME kit it self..
sure this isn’t the keeper’s kit?
it seems that having two “dark” color kits is not likely – the leaked new home kit seems to be a bit darker than this year and 2008/9.

This may also be a third kit. Barca usually has a third kit and we shouldn’t rule out that possibility.
