Is this the 2011-2012 FC Barcelona home kit?

Possible design for FC Barcelona 2011/2012 Home Kit

Still no word from FC Barcelona or Nike as to what the new 2011/2012 home kit is going to look like with the new sponser, Qatar Foundation replacing UNICEF.

But recently this image has been making its way across the internet with heavy speculation that this is in fact what the kit will look like.

Again, we cannot confirm that this is legit but as you can see it does feature the UNICEF logo on the back of the kit under the players number just as FC Barcelona had submitted to the league for approval.

We should know more in the next few weeks as the next seasons kits are often leaked just prior to the summer break.

If this is the kit what are your thoughts?

    Looks ugly. It takes their jersey in a direction that has little reference to those of prior seasons. Too many stripes. I don’t like it.

    Agreed. It looks absolutely awful. There are no two ways around it. Hopefully this hasn’t even been considered and the real kits will be much more appealing. Though with the sponsorship placement being the issue it is, I can’t imagine actually wanting to wear this.

This kit is also not helping- makes them look clownish. I saw some photos of the kit being sold on ebay and the red even looks PInK!!! Clowns at NIKE…turning the greatest team in the world into a bunch of vaudevillian marauders. No way I am forking out to get this kit.
