Following training on Wednesday Alexis Sánchez received medical clearance and will be available to play in Friday’s UEFA Super Cup match against Porto.

Sánchez has been inactive for a week following a hamstring injury suffered against Real Madrid in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup.

Guardiola will likely opt to start Pedro but will now have more depth available to him upfront with the return of Alexis.
