How to get Cesc Fabregas in a FC Barcelona kit
Following an unsuccessful attempt at negotiating with Arsene Wenger Barça players take matters into their own hands.
This past weekend FC Barcelona president Sandro Rosell traveled to South Africa to take in the World Cup and also try to meet with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. The agenda was of course to push forward the transfer of Cesc Fabregas.
Both Wenger and director Ivan Gazidis held firm in their stance that Fabregas is not for sale. Following a rejected 35 million euro offer from Barcelona it may be a lost cause to get the midfielder in the Camp Nou this coming season.
On Monday following Spain’s World Cup victory in the final against Netherlands FC Barcelona players and national squad members, Gerard Pique and Carles Puyol decided to take matters into their own hands.
As you can see in the video below, during a press conference following their victory both players blindsided Fabregas and decided to skip all the bureaucratic tape and outfit Fabregas in the Barça kit.
If only it were that simple….

You really think we're gonna sell him to you after the way you've behaved this summer?
Dream on. For a start there's no way you can afford him (your official offer of 30-35 m was insulting) and Barcelona's players and management have disgraced themselves and should be heavily punished by UEFA, but of course we all know that wont happen because UEFA are weak sycophants who will not want to fall out of favor with the La Liga Champions and a team with so many world cup winners.

Of course they want him -- without Messi, the Barca attack from Spain looked toothless, until Cesc arrived. Cesc and Torres were key -- Villa didn't score when Fernando wasn't on the pitch, and Cesc showed what Barca miss without Messi. But if the players want him, they certainly have gone out of their way to make sure it won't happen.
